✍️ Write a Catchy Short Bio

The short bio is what users see first when browsing venues or exploring the app.

  • Keep it concise, relevant, and attention-grabbing
  • Focus on your venue’s unique appeal (e.g., “The top indoor court in Helsinki since 1992”)
  • Think of it as your one-liner for search results

💡 This text shows directly on your venue card in discovery views, so make it sparkle.


📚 Tell Your Story in the Full Bio

Your full bio appears on your venue’s profile page and allows more personality and detail.

Here, you can include:

  • A warm welcome message
  • Details about the sports and services offered
  • Information about coaching, equipment, and facility highlights
  • A brief history or background
  • Your tone can be casual or professional — whatever fits your brand

There’s a rich text editor available, so feel free to add headings, bold key points, and even use emojis for flair!


🖼 Upload a Profile Image

Visuals matter. Upload a profile photo that captures your venue’s atmosphere or entrance. A bright, clear image goes a long way.

  • Avoid blurry or cluttered shots
  • Exterior photos work great for easy recognition
  • Interior photos add clear indication on the possibilities offered
  • Landscape format is preferred for the best fit

If you don’t have one handy, you can also choose from Thril’s default images until you’re ready.

Make it easy for customers to reach you. Under the full bio, be sure to add:

  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email for reservations
  • Social media links (e.g., Instagram and Facebook)

👀 Preview Your Changes in Real Time

On the right-hand side of the branding screen, you’ll see a live preview of how your venue looks both in search results and on your profile page.

This helps you immediately visualize:

  • Your uploaded photo

Make adjustments until it feels just right. Once satisfied, hit Save Changes — and you’re live!
