The Pro Shop module lets you sell and rent products at your venue, integrating with Thril’s booking and customer management for seamless sales and inventory.

Welcome to your Pro Shop command center! This guide helps venue operators unlock the full potential of the Pro Shop in Thril. Whether you're selling merchandise, renting rackets, or offering unique on-site items, this feature supports a better customer experience and new revenue streams.

Let’s walk through how to configure products, what to offer, and how to drive results.


🧩 What Is the Pro Shop?

The Pro Shop is Thril’s built-in sales and rental module. It lets you:

  • Sell general front desk items and merchandise
    • (e.g. drinks, snacks, accessories)
  • Offer equipment rentals
    • (e.g. padel rackets, balls, shoes)
  • Manage tax rates and whether the products can be bought with Finnish sport benefits
  • Track product status and availability
  • Customize pick-up instructions for your customers
  • Generate more revenue with minimal effort

It integrates with Thril’s booking and customer management system, so all customer purchases are tied to their user profiles and history.


🛠️ Setting Up the Pro Shop

From your Thril dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Products → Pro Shop
  2. Click New product
  3. Choose between:
    • Rental item (e.g. racquet rental)
    • General (e.g. merchandise, badminton racquet grip)
  4. Enter the following:
    • Product name (e.g. Padel racquet (rental))
    • Additional details (e.g. Pick up from info desk)
    • Reservation instructions for rentals (e.g. In a locked cabinet near court A. Code: 1234)
    • Price including or excluding VAT
    • VAT % (default to 14% if unsure)
    • Choose whether it's allowed for Epassi or Edenred use (if applicable)
  5. Click Create product and it’s live!

💡 Tip: Set status to Active only when the item is ready to go. Inactive items will not be shown to customers.

Understand Your Customers Are your customers mostly first-timers or seasoned players? Stock accordingly.

Upsell at Checkout When players book games, prompt them with: “Need to rent a racket?” . You can also add this to your confirmation emails.

🎁 Bundle Deals Offer combos like “Racket rental + ball set for €10” to increase perceived value.

💬 Use the Announcements Module Promote new Pro Shop arrivals via announcements and push notifications.

🔍 Track Sales Performance Use the Payments and Invoices tabs to analyze which products perform best and when.


💳 Invoicing and Payment Integration

Products sold through the Pro Shop are linked to customer payment data automatically.

  • Each transaction appears in the Payments section with breakdowns (method, VAT, credits used)
  • Venue admins can issue custom invoices from the Invoices tab
  • Seamless refund handling if needed
  • Support for MobilePay, card, credits, and possibly Finnish sport benefits
